International Organization for Migration (IOM), Iran and Afghanistan missions, in cooporation with government of Islamic Republic of Iran (Burea for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs (BAFIA)) and government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, is going to voulentary return 40 qualified Afghan families to Afghanistan who are living legally in Iran.
It is notable that the finantial support of this project is done by Norway and IOM acts as executer and supervisor of the project.
The goal of this project is to assist Afghans residingin Iran (those who are selected BAFIA) for returning to Afghanistan and to support them to establish their bussines in order to stay sustainably in their country of origin to help its reconstruction.
Qualified individuals are not only entitled to receive travel and business support, but also to receive support for vocational training, special condition (age limit), and housing allowance in the destination country. To be noted, the selection and returninig steps of the individuals will be done in Islamic Republic of Iran and the final grant payment will be done in Afghanistan and IOM Afghanistan supervision.
